It
seems that the exact same outline from the model of old Baki is still
the current waterfront. Not exactly true, since the waterfront is further
away now then it was back then. Possibly the Caspian Sea level dropped
some over the last millenium and allowed for some extra land to be used
for the roadway and beachside park to be built in the 18th and 19th centuries.
