Yosemite/Halfdome 2009

Crawling on my belly to the edge of Halfdome You can see the distant smoke from the wildfire, which they should have left to burn A view of Yosemite Valley
As the sky became more interesting, it had gotten ver windy up here. The sound of the wind through the trees sounded like an express train going by in the distance
Riverside, where logs don't float - because they are water logged
A very steep path down

This is the shorter, but steeper way to get back to the valley floor
